Dorothy Graham has worked in software testing for over 30 years.
Originally from Grand Rapids, she is a graduate of Calvin College
(nee Hoekema) and holds a Master's degree in Mathematics from Purdue
University.
Her first job was developing testing tools for Bell Labs in New Jersey.
After emigrating to the UK, she worked as a developer for Ferranti Computer Systems in Manchester
for 7 years. She developed training courses in software engineering for the National Computing
Centre before becoming an independent consultant specialising in software testing. She founded
Grove Consultants in 1988. During her 20 years with them, Grove gained a reputation for the
high quality of their training materials and presentations, and established a world-wide client
base. In 2008 she left Grove to become an independent consultant. She is co-author of three books.
Software Inspection with Tom Gilb, Software Test Automation with Mark Fewster and
Foundations of Software Testing with Erik Van Veenendaal, Isabel Evans and Rex Black.
Dorothy was Programme Chair for the first EuroStar conference in 1993, and for the BCS SIGIST
for its first 7 years. She has been on the boards of conferences and publications in software testing.
She was a founding member of the ISEB Software Testing Board, and was a member of the working
party that developed the ISTQB Foundation Syllabus. Dorothy is a popular and entertaining
speaker at conferences and events world-wide and holds the European Excellence Award in Software Testing.

Quentin Schultze is a professor,
writer, and speaker who earned a Ph.D. in communication from the Institute of Communications Research at the
University of Illinois. He is the Arthur H. DeKruyter Chair and Professor of Communication Arts and Sciences at
Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
His books include An Essential Guide to Public Speaking, which is used across North America for teaching
and mentoring people in the art of public speaking.
Dr. Schultze's scholarly publications have appeared in several dozen journals. He has also written over
a hundred articles for general-interest periodicals.
Professor Schultze has been quoted in most of the major media, including The Wall Street Journal,
Newsweek, U.S. News & World Report, The Los Angeles Times, The New York Times, Fortune, the Chicago Tribune,
USA Today, and many other publications. He has been interviewed by CNN, CBS Radio, NBC TV, National
Public Radio, and dozens of additional radio and television stations.
He speaks for businesses, non-profit organizations, trade associations, colleges and universities,
religious events, and many other audiences. He received the Presidential Award for Exemplary Teaching
at Calvin College in 2000.
He has consulted for a wide range of non-profit and for-profit organizations on communication-related
issues and opportunities.
He mentors communication scholars and practitioners across North America.
